PAA dismisses rumours of 72-hour passengers stay at Islamabad airport


The PAA officially denied any rumours circulating on social media regarding passengers force to stay at the Islamabad Airport for 72 hours

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA)officially denied any rumours circulating on social media regarding passengers force to stay at the Islamabad Airport for 72 hours,

The authority labelled` the reports as “baseless” and identified the source of misinformation as an account titled “AYM”.

As per the PAA, the post made by the account was declared as irresponsible and misleading. In response to the alleged fake news, the PAA warned they took legal action and instructed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to take ‘appropriate’ action.

The PAA reassured the public that operations at all airports, including the Islamabad Airport, were proceeding as ‘normal’ and without any disruptions.
