NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Pakistan Army has inaugurated four mobile health units in North Waziristan. These units, equipped with cutting-edge medical facilities such as ECG, ultrasound, and a range of laboratory tests, are designed to deliver high-quality healthcare services to the local residents.

The primary goal of these health units is to bring standardised medical facilities directly to the doorsteps of the local population, addressing the healthcare needs of communities in previously underserved areas. The initiative kicked off in the surrounding regions of North Waziristan, specifically in Gardai and Shewa, with plans underway to extend coverage to other areas.

The deployment of these units has garnered appreciation from the local community, expressing gratitude to the Pakistani military and the Medical Corps for their collaborative efforts in enhancing healthcare services.

Beyond providing diagnostic and treatment services, the health units also focus on preventive measures and precautions against various diseases. Furthermore, they offer free medications to residents, aiming to alleviate the financial burden associated with healthcare and make essential treatments more accessible to the community.
