WEB DESK: For the coming days, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts a mixed bag of weather conditions across Pakistan, with Sunday set to bring dry spells and sweltering temperatures to most regions, while Monday follows suit with a continuation of the dry, hot trend, particularly in the south.

In the capital city of Islamabad and its surrounding areas, residents can expect clear skies and dry weather on both Sunday and Monday, offering some relief from the scorching sun.

Moving towards Punjab, the majority of districts are slated to experience dry weather, with the southern areas bracing for hotter temperatures. Notably, popular hill stations like Murree and Galyat are also in for a dry spell.

Across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a similar dry outlook is predicted, offering favourable conditions for outdoor pursuits.

Sindh province is anticipated to sizzle under dry and hot weather on both Sunday and Monday, with residents advised to take precautions against the soaring temperatures.

Meanwhile, Balochistan is set to experience dry weather in most districts, with the southern regions facing particularly hot conditions, urging residents to stay hydrated and seek shelter from the sun.

In the northern regions, Gilgit-Baltistan is expected to witness partly cloudy skies on Sunday, with a possibility of light rain and thunderstorms in isolated areas. Monday brings a continuation of partly cloudy conditions.

In Kashmir, a similar forecast awaits, with Sunday bringing partly cloudy skies and the chance of light rain and thunderstorms in some areas. Monday is likely to see a continuation of these conditions, with gusty winds accompanying the showers.

With Eid holidays just around the corner and shopping sprees gaining momentum, citizens are advised to take the necessary precautions against dehydration and avoid extreme heat.
