The advisor on political affairs to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Rana Sanaullah, announced the decision in Islamabad. The decision demands increased humanitarian aid for Palestinians and calls for a boycott of products from companies supporting Israel.
According to Sanaullah, Pakistan views Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a “terrorist”, who is personally responsible for the war crimes committed by Israeli forces in Palestine.
The decision categorises Israel as a terrorist state and urges the international community to join Pakistan in denouncing Netanyahu’s leadership.
The agreement includes plans to accelerate humanitarian aid efforts to Gaza, with Pakistan committing to send 1,000 tonnes of essential supplies such as food and medicine.
Sanaullah stated that Pakistan was ready to provide medical assistance to injured Palestinians and to host them for treatment in Pakistani hospitals if necessary.
Pakistan also formed a committee tasked with identifying and boycotting companies that support Israel’s actions in Gaza. This committee aims to enforce a comprehensive ban on products and services from entities perceived to be complicit in Israeli atrocities against Palestinians.
Sanaullah called upon the global Muslim community and the broader international community to hold Netanyahu accountable under international law for the war crimes committed in Palestine. Israel has faced mounting criticisms for its military operations in Gaza, which have intensified since October and have resulted in significant civilian casualties.
