RAWALPINDI: In preparation for the upcoming 23rd March Pakistan Day Parade, the Rawalpindi district administration has announced public holidays for March 21st and 22nd in the city and cantonment areas.
In a notification released by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rawalpindi on Wednesday, it was announced that all educational institutions, both public and private, along with offices, will remain closed on the aforementioned dates.
However, it’s important to note that the SSC-1 Annual Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi will proceed unaffected by this holiday declaration, ensuring that students can continue with their academic evaluations without disruption.
While Rawalpindi gears up for the celebratory events, it’s worth mentioning that no official notification has been issued yet regarding public holidays in Islamabad.
In response to the holiday announcement, several universities have reportedly opted for online classes during these days. Nonetheless, students are advised to reach out to their respective institutions for confirmation and guidance regarding their academic schedules amidst the holiday period.
As the nation prepares to commemorate Pakistan Day with patriotic fervor, the declaration of public holidays in Rawalpindi underscores the significance of this occasion.
