Pakistan Day weather forecast: dry by the day, cool by the night

Sunday weather

WEB DESK: On this Saturday falling on March 23 – Pakistan Day, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts the skies to remain dry for much of the day, embracing most regions in a cloak of stillness.

From the bustling streets of urban centres to the quiet countrysides, the air will likely hold a crispness hinting at the changing of seasons. While the country celebrates its defence capabilities and takes pride in a show of its military might, the sun will shine strong on the country.

Yet, as dusk tiptoes across the horizon, the lower reaches of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, central Punjab, and the northern stretches of Balochistan, will experience wisps of cloud.

As night descends, PMD predicts these clouds to assert themselves, obscuring the stars and the moon and to bring a relatively cooler weather. Whispers of rain are also expected in some areas along with strong winds.
