Pakistan foreign office condemns attacks on Somalia, Gaza

Pakistan condemns attack on Chinese citizens

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday condemned the attacks on Somalia and Gaza in two separate incidents.

In a post shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the Foreign Office “strongly condemns Israel’s military aggression against Rafah city in Gaza and the resulting destruction and massacre of the Palestinian people”.

The post further added that “Israel’s offensive in Rafah violates the provisional measures indicated by the International Court of Justice to protect the people of Gaza from genocide. It will further aggravate the humanitarian disaster witnessed in Gaza over the last 4 months and jeopardize the ongoing efforts for a potential ceasefire.”

The Foreign Office urged the international community “to take urgent measures to bring an immediate ned to Israeli aggression and its incessant crimes against humanity”.

Similarly, the Foreign Office “strongly condemns yesterday’s heinous terrorist attack against the UAE military trainers and under training Somalian soldiers at a military base in Mogadishu”.

The post added that “Pakistan rejects terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and stands in firm solidary with the Government of Somalia in combating terrorism”.
