Pakistan helps Afghanistan douse fire at Chaman border

CHAMAN: Pakistan has come to the aid of Afghanistan to help douse out a severe fire incident in the Wesh Mandi area, near the friendship gate at Chaman border.

As per details, a severe fire broke out in the Wesh market adjacent to the Pak-Afghan border at Friendship Gate Chaman.

In response, the government of Pakistan and Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (North) took immediate action to assist in controlling the blaze by dispatching all available fire brigade vehicles from Chaman to Afghanistan and preventing its spread to nearby populated areas.

The fire came as a great shock for the traders as Japanese goods worth millions of rupees were burnt.  

This cross-border assistance demonstrates Pakistan’s commitment to being a supportive neighbor during emergencies.
