WASHINGTON: Chief of Pakistan Navy Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi is on a visit to the United States, leading Pakistan’s participation in the 25th International Seapower Symposium.
He engaged in a series of high-level meetings and discussions aimed at strengthening international maritime cooperation. The symposium is a prestigious annual event attended by various delegations, Chiefs of Navy, and Coast Guard officials from around the world.
The symposium is hosted by the United States this year and serves as a platform for discussing critical maritime challenges and fostering increased cooperation at the international level.

During his visit, Admiral Niazi held talks with US Secretary of the Navy and other top-ranking US Navy officials, where they explored avenues for collaboration and discussed matters of mutual interest. The meetings underlined the importance of bilateral naval ties between Pakistan and the United States.
In addition to his engagements in the United States, Admiral Niazi also met with the Chief of Staff of Spain and the Chief of Naval Forces of Azerbaijan, further solidifying Pakistan’s maritime partnerships on a global scale.
The Chief of Pakistan Navy also had the opportunity to confer with counterparts from Saudi Arabia, Netherlands, and Egypt, emphasizing the pivotal role of Pakistan Navy in addressing the increasing threats in the maritime domain.
Admiral Niazi’s visit underscores Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing maritime security and promoting collaboration with naval forces worldwide. The outcomes of these high-level meetings are expected to contribute significantly to maritime stability and cooperation on the international stage.
