Pakistan Railways announces discounted fares for Eid

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways (PR) has announced a 25 per cent discount on fares on the three days of Eidul Fitr.

According to a notification issued by PR, Railways announced a 25 per cent discount on fares for three days of the Eidul-Fitr.

Crackdown launched against overcharging transporters

The concession in fares will be for all classes of all passenger trains.

The discount will not be applicable on Eid Special trains.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Railways is running four special trains for Eidul-Fitr 2024, aimed at helping commuters going to their hometowns.

Celebrations like Eidul-Fitr in Pakistan have seen a large influx of travelers who travel to their native areas to celebrate the event with their loved ones.
