Pakistan Railways announces five special trains for Eidul Azha

LAHORE: Pakistan Railways has scheduled five ‘Eid special trains’ for Eidul Azha. One of these trains will run today, three will be operated tomorrow and one more is scheduled for Wednesday.

On Monday, Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi announced the schedule, along with the directives of ensuring zero negligence. Strict action will be taken against officers and staff for negligence or error.

As per the issued schedule, the first train will leave from Karachi to Lahore today (June 2) at 1 PM.

The second train will run from Quetta to Peshawar tomorrow (June 3) at 10 AM.

The third train will leave Lahore for Karachi via Multan, also on June 3 at 5 PM.

The fourth train will go from Karachi to Rawalpindi on June 3 at 8 PM.

The fifth Eid special train will leave Karachi for Lahore on June 4 at 8 PM.

All trains will consist of economy and business standard class, Pakistan Railways Spokesperson said.
