Pakistan Railways to run three ‘Eid special’ trains

LAHORE: Pakistan Railways have announced to run three Eid special trains from Karachi. The first Eid special train will depart from Karachi Cantt Station for Lahore at 1 PM today (March 26).

Apart from these, two trains will be run from Karachi to Lahore, and one from Karachi to Rawalpindi, Pakistan Railway officials said. The trains bound for Lahore will reach their destination tomorrow (March 27).

The second Eid special train will depart from Karachi City Station on March 27 (tomorrow) at 8:30 PM.

Pakistan Railways to run 5 special trains on Eid

The third Eid special train from Karachi to Lahore will depart from Karachi Cantt Station at 9:00 PM on March 28 (Friday).

These Eid special trains comprise of a total of 16 coaches, including 2 AC Business, 2 AC Standard, 10 Economy Class coaches, 1 Power Van and 1 Brake Van, the officials said, adding that the trains will serve 1,062 passengers.

These Eid special trains are being run to reduce the unusual rush of passengers that comes with events like Eid-ul-Fitr.
