RAWALPINDI: Pakistan made a latest addition to the inventory of newly-established Army Rocket Force Command (ARFC) as it successfully test-fired Fatah-IV cruise missile that has a range of 750 kilometres.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Fatah-IV is equipped with modern avionics and navigational system.
Moreover, Fatah-IV has the ability to pierce through the enemy defence system and hit the target with pinpoint accuracy.
The ISPR said the chief of general staff and other senior officers watched the missile test and added that the new cruise missile had greatly enhanced the Pakistan Army’s capabilities.
It is the reason why experts say Fatah-4 will further enhance the reach, lethality and survivability of Pakistan Army’s conventional missile systems.
With enhanced precision and advanced guidance systems, the Fatah-IV is a game-changer in national defense, solidifying Pakistan’s strategic deterrence.
A NEW MILESTONE
Felicitating the nation after the latest successful cruise missile test, President Asif Ali Zardari described it as another prove of self-reliance and said Pakistan’s defence would remain invincible.
“The nation is proud of determination and courage of its scientists and engineers,” said Zardari.
It’s a developing story. Details to follow.
