SADIQABAD: Tilak Kumar, a Hindu boy from Sadiqabad, has achieved remarkable success in his matriculation examination by securing 1,069 marks out of a total 1,100.

Tilak is a student of Danish High School Rahim Yar Khan.

Tilak Kumar hails from a humble background, and his father, Thakur Das, works as a cap-maker. Though Thakur Das himself couldn’t pursue an education, he made a solemn commitment to adorn his children with the jewels of knowledge. He laboured tirelessly, crafting caps, to ensure his children received an education.

Tilak Kumar’s success in the matric exams, despite limited resources, has not only brought honour to his parents but has also illuminated the name of his school.

His dedication and hard work serve as a testament to the power of determination and the unwavering support of his parents.

Thakur Das told HUM News, “Tilak Kumar is my third son among three sons and two daughters. His outstanding performance in the matriculation exams has brought glory to our family name.”

Tilak Kumar’s brother, Shankar Das, shared his joy, saying that Tilak is the youngest among the three brothers and aspires to become a software engineer.

The family is ecstatic about Tilak’s achievements and is committed to supporting him in his future endeavours.
