QUETTA: In a significant development, a parliamentary committee has convened a meeting at 9pm to discuss the appointment of the caretaker chief minister (CM) for Balochistan.
The meeting aims to pick a key individual who will take up this important position for the interim period.
The speaker of Balochistan Assembly has issued a notification to formalise the committee’s formation.
This step underscores the parliamentary process’s transparency and adherence to established procedures.
The committee is composed of six members, each with a pivotal role in the decision-making process.
Notably, Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Qadoos Bizenjo, is also a part of this committee, lending his insights to the deliberations.
Other members of the committee include Zamarak Achakzai and Sardar Abdul Rahman Khetran, prominent figures with a deep understanding of Balochistan’s socio-political landscape.
