ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly Secretariat has established the Pasban e Aman Force to enhance security at the Parliament House.
This newly formed security unit has undergone rigorous anti-terrorism training.
The primary responsibilities of the Pasban e Aman Force include safeguarding the Parliament House and ensuring the security of the Speaker of the National Assembly. Additionally, the responsibility for managing the parking facilities for Parliament House employees has been transferred from the Frontier Corps (FC) to this new security force.
What is the controversy surrounding Bahria Town Peshawar?
The Pasban e Aman Force personnel, who were appointed a few months ago, received extensive anti-terrorism training. The 3rd batch of personnel successfully completed their training on August 25th of this year.
This marks a historic moment in the country as it’s the first time that the Parliament has established a dedicated security force for its protection.
Members of the Pasban e Aman Force wear uniforms that closely resemble those of the Elite Force, featuring ATS signs on their caps and the “Pasban e Aman Force” insignia on their right shoulders.
The Pasban e Aman Force has taken over partial security duties at the regular Parliament House, replacing the previously stationed FC personnel.
