Peshawar blast: sketch of suspect prepared

PESHAWAR: In a significant development following the tragic incident on Peshawar’s Warsak Road, law enforcement agencies have taken a crucial step forward by unveiling the sketch of the prime suspect behind the blast.

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has meticulously made a sketch of the suspected bomber based on detailed eyewitness accounts.

According to the CTD, the suspect in question is identified as an Afghan national affiliated with a banned organisation.

The preparation of this sketch marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing investigation, providing authorities with a visual tool to aid in the identification and subsequent apprehension of the alleged perpetrator.

In the aftermath of the roadside Peshawar blast that rocked Warsak Road, leaving seven individuals, including three children, injured, the youngest of the injured children is six; the others are 14 and 17 years old.the CTD has intensified its efforts to track down the suspect.

Rescue officials had said the incident took place opposite a school on a major thoroughfare in the morning when an improvised explosive device went off in the middle of the road.

Coordinated raids are currently underway as part of a concerted operation to bring the individual responsible for this heinous act to justice.
