Peshawar continues to face extended power outages

Peshawar power outages

PESHAWAR: Extended power outages have become routine in several parts of Peshawar, with residents reporting daily load shedding lasting from 10 to 16 hours.

According to residents, areas including Gulberg, Nothia, and Palosi are experiencing power cuts lasting nearly 10 to 12 hours, while in Tehkal and Badaber, the duration of load shedding has reportedly reached up to 16 hours.

People living in Peshawar and surrounding areas have said that the electricity situation has disrupted daily activities and created difficulties across neighborhoods.

Efforts are being made to obtain an official statement from PESCO (Peshawar Electric Supply Company) regarding the ongoing situation. The company has yet to issue a formal response.

This comes amid widespread reports of power shortages across other parts of the province as well.
