KARACHI: A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) spokesperson has refuted reports of a change in its logo design.
As per details, PIA spokesperson has said that no changes are being made in the logo design of the national flag carrier.
Punjab to introduce e-taxi service
PIA’s planes represent the national flag, and no decision regarding design or branding can be made without the approval of the board and relevant ministries.
He confirmed that no modifications have been made to the tail flag or overall aircraft design as reported.
It merits mentioning that PIA did try to introduce a new logo by changing the national flag to Markhor on the tail of its aircrafts. However due to lack of public acceptance and on intervention of the Supreme Court in 2018 the logo was removed and the picture of the Pakistani flag was restored.
FOG DISRUPTS PIA’S FLIGHT OPERATIONS
Dense fog has disrupted the national carrier’s flight operations in various cities of Punjab, which includes Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan and Sialkot.
PIA spokesperson has requested the passengers to cooperate with the ground staff and get timely updates on their flight schedules by either contacting the PIA call center or visit the airline’s official website.
