PIA suspends flights to the UAE due to extreme weather patterns

KARACHI: In response to the extreme weather patterns in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has suspended air operations to the UAE for the time being.

This was revealed in the travel guidelines for passengers heading to the UAE, issued by the PIA on Thursday.

According to a statement by PIA Spokesman, air services to Dubai and Sharjah have been significantly impacted by torrential rains in the UAE, leading to the suspension of operations for various airlines, including PIA.

As a result, passengers booked on affected PIA flights may experience delays and cancellations. PIA assures passengers of its utmost concern for their well-being and safety.

The airline has pledged to resume operations promptly once the weather situation improves. Passengers are advised to stay updated on their flight status by contacting the PIA call center at 786 786 111, the statement said.
