PM congratulates Saudi minister on Nishan-i-Pakistan award

ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia Defense Minister Prince Khalid Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s office (PMO) said on Sunday.

They discussed bilateral matters, regional peace, security and situation in the region. They also exchanged views on increasing cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia in the areas of defence and security.

Notably, the Saudi Defense Minister was bestowed with the prestigious Nishan-i-Pakistan Award on the occasion of Pakistan’s grand Pakistan Day Parade on Saturday; an accolade for which Prime Minister Sharif congratulated him during their exchange.

He also thanked the Saudi Defence minister for attending the Pakistan day parade as a special guest. Shehbaz Sharif expressed best wishes for custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Al Saud.

Saudi Fund pledges continued support for Pakistan’s development goals

Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir also attended the meeting.
