PM Kakar commends ministries’ collaborative efforts for economic growth

WEB DESK: Caretaker Prime Minister (PM) Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar expressed appreciation on Friday for the efforts of relevant ministries in identifying potential areas of collaboration under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).

In a directed effort to realise the envisioned long-term economic dividends, he chaired a special session of the Apex Committee of SIFC, aimed at fostering strategic partnerships with friendly countries.

The meeting, as per a press release from the PM Office, was attended by Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, ministers, and high-level government officials.

During the session, the apex committee conducted a comprehensive review of the current level of collaboration.

Subsequently, it unanimously approved various initiatives to be discussed with friendly countries and directed the fast-track implementation of projects conceived under these initiatives.

The Chief of Army Staff affirmed the unwavering resolve of the Pakistan Army to support the economic initiatives being undertaken by the Government of Pakistan.
