PM Sharif declares thanksgiving today after success of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared today (Sunday) as the day of thanksgiving, following the success of Operation Bunyan al-Marsus against Indian aggression.

He announced celebrations today across the country, saying, “Pakistan has proven its superiority on every front, we are grateful to Allah Almighty for the success.” He added that Operation Bunyan al-Marsus gave an effective and full response to the enemy.

Despite the enemy’s aggression, Pakistan ensured its defense with patience and forbearance but with full preparation, Prime Minister Sharif said, adding, “The nation, especially the [religious] scholars, should organise collective prayers and nawafil across the country”.
