ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with a delegation of young entrepreneurs on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Shehbaz confirmed the federal government’s “commitment” to providing comprehensive support and facilities to the business community.

Shehbaz talked about importance of global market expansion for Pakistani exports. He talked about its role in bolstering the country’s economy and the significant contribution young entrepreneurs can make to advancing Pakistani exports internationally.

Addressing economic challenges, Shehbaz expressed confidence in government-business collaboration to mitigate financial and trade deficits. He talked about efforts to end gender discrimination in economic opportunities and outlined plans to streamline government operations for greater institutional efficiency.

The PM said that ensuring a conducive business environment remained a “top government priority”. He directed the formation of a Youth Entrepreneur Advisory Committee comprising young business leaders to better engagement and policy input.

Shehbaz talked about the “paramount” importance of robust business cooperation between China and Pakistan, noting its potential to significantly boost economic growth and stability in both nations.

The PM promised in fostering entrepreneurship, promoting exports, and tackling economic challenges through collaboration with the business community.
