PM Shehbaz Sharif arrives in Karachi on one-day visit

KARACHI: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Karachi on a day-long trip.

One of the tasks on his agenda for the day include a review of the Karachi port operations. He will be briefed about Karachi Port Trust (KPT), Port Qasim Authority (PQA) and Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC).

The prime minister is also scheduled to meet a delegation of businessmen from the export and import sector.

He will also be briefed on trends in the national income, facilities for the business community in Karachi, as well as reforms in the import-export sector.
