PMDC announces MDCAT 2024 exam date


IHC orders retake of MDCAT

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced that the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) exam 2024 will be held on September 22.

According to President PMDC Professor Dr. Rizwan Taj, the MDCAT exam 2024 would be held simultaneously on the same date in Pakistan and overseas and the syllabus for the exam would be uploaded on the PMDC website by next week.

In a move to facilitate students, the council has decided not to change the syllabus, Professor Dr. Rizwan Taj. said

The council has instructed all provincial secretaries to start preparing for the MDCAT exam. This decision was made in the best interest of the students, said the PMDC President.

KP public schools lack basic facilities

Last year, approximately 180,534 students appeared for the exam. This year, around 200,000 students are expected to take the test, estimated Dr. Rizwan Taj.

The MDCAT paper index will be designed to ease students without compromising on merit. “The bright future of our students is our top priority,” emphasized the PMDC President.

The PMDC is working tirelessly to facilitate students. All universities have been instructed to ensure transparency in the admission process, Professor Rizwan Taj said.
