ISLAMABAD: Letters that were sent to Lahore High Court Judges have been traced back to Islamabad, according to sources close to the matter.

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Punjab swiftly reached out to its Islamabad counterpart, seeking collaboration to investigate the matter further.

Further revelations indicate that envelopes carrying the suspicious substance also sent to judges of the Lahore High Court came from the post office located in Sector I10/4 of Islamabad.

Such incidents have raised eyebrows, prompting authorities to intensify efforts in apprehending the culprits behind these nefarious acts.

Moreover, it has been highlighted that Satellite Town, a significant locality opposite to where the letters originated, played a pivotal role in this concerning saga.

Notably, Satellite Town Rawalpindi and iTen Four are encompassed within Islamabad’s administrative jurisdiction.
