PPP suspends Latif Khosa’s party membership

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has announced the suspension of Latif Khosa’s party membership, a decision confirmed by the party’s Secretary General Nayar Hussain Bukhari.

Khosa’s membership within the Central Executive Committee (CEC) of the PPP has also been suspended.

A week ago, Bukhari had issued a show cause notice to Khosa seeking explanations regarding “defending and representing another political party’s chief without prior approval of PPP’s leadership”, along with some other unspecified matters of concern within the party.

However, despite the passage of the stipulated period, Khosa did not provide a response to the show cause notice. This apparent non-compliance has led to the suspension of his party membership and his position within the CEC.
