ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended his warmest congratulations to the Sikh community on the joyous occasion of Baisakhi, also known as Vaisakhi.
He described the desi month of Baisakh as a symbol of the spring season, embodying renewal and growth.

“Baisakhi is a festival of love, sharing happiness,” PM Shehbaz Sharif said. He underscored the rich tapestry of Pakistan’s diverse faiths and cultures, highlighting the beauty that emerges from their harmonious coexistence. “The colours of Baisakhi add to this beauty,” he added.
PM Sharif assured that both federal and provincial governments are dedicated to ensuring the provision of all necessary facilities to Sikh pilgrims during this auspicious time.
“On the occasion of Baisakhi, I want to convey a message of love, peace, and harmony to you all,” he said while advocating for unity and understanding among communities.
