Protesters booked for attacking scouts building in Bajaur

BAJAUR: A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against protesters who attacked the Scouts Building in Bajaur after the murder of Rehan Zeb Khan, an independent candidate for provincial and national assemblies from Bajaur.

Protests erupted in Bajaur’s Tehsil Khar after Zeb was shot dead Wednesday morning during his election campaign.

According to the FIR security forces the protester also raised malicious slogans against security forces.

The FIR further states that the agitated individuals also attempted to break the gate of the Scouts Colony President’s residence.

The election commission Bajaur on Wednesday announced that the elections in constituency NA-8 and PK-22 have been cancelled due to the assassination of an independent candidate, Rehan Zeb Khan.
