PTI announces new KP office bearers

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Friday announced its new office-bearers for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as part of rebuilding the party structure in the province.
According to a notification, former senior minister Atif Khan has been appointed as the president for Peshawar region while former provincial minister Kamran Bangash would serve as general secretary.
Former federal religious affairs minister Noor-ul-Haq Qadri would lead the party in merged districts of the erstwhile Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) with former MNA from Kurram, Fakhar Zaman Khan assuming charge as general secretary.
For Hazara region, Babar Swati, a former adviser to the chief minister would serve as president while former provincial minister Akbar Ayub Khan has been given the responsibility of general secretary.
Former member national assembly (MNA) from Karak, Shahid Khattak has been appointed president for southern districts of the province with Sajid Iqbal nominated as general secretary.
Former member provincial assembly (MPA) Fazal Hakim has been chosen as president for Malakand region. Sahibzada Sibghatullah, former MNA from Upper Dir has been made the general secretary.
