PTI announces public rally in Rawalpindi on Sep 28

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Barrister Gohar on Monday announced that the party will hold a public rally on September 28 in Rawalpindi.

Barrister Gohar Khan stated that PTI has already submitted an application for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to move forward with the planned rally.

While speaking to the media in Islamabad, Gohar shared that the party’s core committee had discussed the recent Supreme Court decision.

“We hold the Supreme Court’s decision in high regard and view it with great respect,” he added.
He also called on the Election Commission to announce the reserved seats at the earliest opportunity.

Earlier today, The PTI Chairman stressed the importance of an independent judiciary in any democratic country. He reiterated the need to reduce oppression to facilitate the progress of democracy.

He also criticised the government for attempting to introduce alleged unconstitutional amendments. He further questioned the alleged attempts to replace judges who do not deliver favourable rulings.

He insisted that judges must remain free from political influence.
