Islamabad Red Zone sealed, schools closed, metro service suspended

According to barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Imran Khan told Azam Swati to cancel today’s jalsa as to avoid any confrontation.

Earlier the district administration of Islamabad had sealed the red zone and announced a holiday for both public and private schools in Islamabad on Thursday.

The decision to keep schools closed today was made in the backdrop of the announcement of a PTI rally and a call for protest by a religious party over the proceedings of the Mubarak Sani case in the Supreme Court.
