PTI chief’s lawyers booked for attacking cop in Attock Jail

ATTOCK: Police on Wednesday registered a case against lawyers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief for allegedly attacking a cop outside the Attock jail, where PTI chief is jailed

According to the First Information report (FIR), PTI lawyers Sher Afzal Marwat and Umair Niazi insisted on meeting their client after the scheduled time had lapsed.

On refusal, the head warder of the Attock jail claimed that he was physically assaulted and threatened by Marwat and Niazi.

The lawyers have also been alleged of tearing the uniform of the policeman.

The case against the lawyers has been registered by the City Police station on the complaint of Head warden Attock Jail.
