Sources privy to the matter indicate that both parties have committed to establishing clear Terms of Reference (TORs) before incorporating independent members into their fold.

Reportedly, special three-member committees have been formed within both PTI and JI to deliberate and finalise the TORs. Notable figures such as Barrister Gohar Ali, Azam Swati, and Ali Amin Gandapur have been enlisted in the PTI committee, while Liaqat Baloch, Professor Ibrahim, and Inayatullah are representing JI in their committee.

The primary objective of these committees is to swiftly draft and refine the TORs, which will then be submitted to the respective leaderships for ultimate approval. Additionally, the committees have been tasked with facilitating consistent communication channels between the two parties, ensuring effective coordination and cooperation.
