PTI prepares members’ lists for national and provincial assemblies

RAWALPINDI: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Barrister Gohar announced that the party has finalised lists of members for the national and three provincial assemblies.
The lists will then be submitted to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) within the next 15 days.

Speaking to media outside Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, Barrister Gohar confirmed the completion of froms from all candidates. He noted the inclusion of Sher Afzal Marwat among the 39 members selected for the National Assembly.
“We are ready to submit the lists of 41 National Assembly members within seven days,” stated Barrister Gohar Ali Khan.
Following submission, he expected the ECP will proceed to verify and confirm their candidates.
PTI lawyer Naeem Haider Panjutha provided insights on ongoing proceedings within the closed courtroom, where Azam Khan clarified his role and participation in meetings.
The prosecutor discussed Azam Khan’s prior statements, with Azam Khan confirming his signature on the statement provided today. Former Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar acknowledged previous allegations of election irregularities.
