LONDON: Former Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa reportedly faced harassment at the hands of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Pakistan (PTI) supporters in the United Kingdom.
Qazi Faez Isa is currently in London to attend a ceremony in his honour at Middle Temple by The Honourable Society.
Qazi Faez Isa is the first Pakistani judge to be invited to a Tuesday dinner by The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.
However, the former CJP faced a hostile reception from PTI workers during a visit to London, where he was attending the historic event at the Middle Temple.
The former CJP was reportedly on his way to the event when PTI activists gathered to protest his presence.

PTI workers attempted to stop and block Isa’s vehicle, which belonged to Pakistan’s High Commission.
Protesters reportedly tried to smash the car’s windows, chanting slogans as they ran alongside. Despite police escorting Isa’s car, the protesters persisted, briefly blocking its path.
PTI leaders Zulfi Bukhari, Malika Bukhari, and Azhar Mashwani addressed the crowd, which had gathered near the Middle Temple to protest against Isa’s judicial record.
The event at Middle Temple was held to constitute benches, a historic occasion that underscored Isa’s international recognition.
Isa and his wife, Sarina, were unharmed, and the protest subsided without any serious altercation.
This is not the first time PTI supporters have harassed a judge in London, last year Humayun Dilawar, a district and sessions court judge who convicted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in the Toshakhana case also faced harassment at the hands of PTI supporters.
