PTI’s Yasmin Rashid hospitalised due to illness

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Dr Yasmin Rashid has been reportedly moved from Lahore Central Jail to Shaukat Khanum Hospital due to worsening health.

According to sources, Dr Yasmin Rashid fell ill while in custody. Her lawyer, Rana Mudassar, revealed that despite several court orders mandating her medical treatment, there have been delays in addressing her condition.

Her legal counsel stated that Dr Yasmin’s health has worsened due to the delays.

The PTI leader is undergoing tests at Shaukat Khanum Hospital to determine the extent of her illness, with concerns focusing on possible cancer-related issues. The results of these tests are expected to provide a clearer picture of her health status.
