Public holiday announced for schools in Islamabad


New Cambridge -like grading system

ISLAMABAD: The Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad announced a public holiday for all public and private schools in the city on Wednesday.

The decision was made in light of “recent events” and with a focus on ensuring the safety of children.

The measure is intended to address concerns related to the current situation and to safeguard the well-being of students.

The Deputy Commissioner stated that the closure was a precautionary step. It was aimed at mitigating any “potential risks” to students during this period.

In addition to the school closure, the Islamabad Red Zone has been sealed as part of the precautionary measures.
