Punjab schools operating on land less than 10 marla to be closed

LAHORE: Schools that are operating on a less than 10 marla land in Punjab will be closed down as per the decision of Punjab Education Foundation (PEF).

The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has announced that partner schools operating on plots smaller than 10 marla must immediately shift their premises.

The foundation has directed school owners to either increase the land size to a minimum of 10 marla within two months or move to a new building.

According to the announcement, schools must promptly notify Punjab Education authorities about the new location.

The PEF administration will then visit the new premises for inspection and approval.

The foundation has made it clear that all partner schools must shift to 10 marla buildings by November 10, otherwise their partnership with PEF will be terminated.
