Qazi Faez Isa attack: London police launches probe

LONDON: London police has launched a probe into the alleged attack on the vehicle of the former Chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice (retired) Qazi Faez Isa during his visit to the UK last month.

Pakistan High Commission in London had filed a formal complaint regarding the attack on former Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice (retired) Qazi Faez Isa without naming anyone.

In this regard, the London police visited Pakistan’s High Commission office to seek details of the incident, according to ARY news channel.

According to the channel report, the British Diplomatic police was given a briefing by the Pakistan High Commission on the incident.  

The police were informed that PTI activists attacked the Pakistan High Commission vehicle in which former CJP Justice (retired) Qazi Faez Isa was present. The activists ran along the car while chanting slogans against the former CJP and smashed the car windows.

The British Diplomatic Police assured the Pakistan High Commission that a thorough investigation would be launched into the incident and would also utilize the recorded videos
