Rain expected in most parts of the country tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: Rain with wind and thundershower is expected in Kashmir, Islamabad, Pothohar region, northeast Punjab and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the next twelve hours, Radio Pakistan has reported.

According to The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), moist currents from the Arabian Sea are entering the upper regions of the country, leading to the development of a weather system.

“Hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower is expected in Kashmir, Islamabad, Pothohar region, northeast/east Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan. Heavy falls may also occur at a few places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pothohar region, northeast Punjab and Kashmir during the forecast period,” the statement issued by PMD reads.
