Rain predicted for Islamabad, Rawalpindi on the weekend

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast predicting rain and heavy snowfall over the next three days in various parts of the country including Islamabad.

According to the department, westerly winds are expected to enter the country starting from February 29.

The forecast specifically highlights the likelihood of heavy rain in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and surrounding areas on March 1st and 2nd.

Additionally, there is a chance of rain in most districts of Punjab from February 19th to March 1st.
