Rain, hailstorms predicted for today

ISLAMABAD: Rain-windstorm and thunderstorms with isolated hailstorms are expected in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, upper and central Punjab, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the next twelve hours.
According to the Meteorological Department, more rain is likely in different parts of the country.
There is also a possibility of hailstorms coupled with rain and wind at a few places in Islamabad.
Heavy rain is expected in Dir, Swat, Charal, Mansehra and Kohistan
There is a risk of flooding in the local rivers of Azad Kashmir due to rain as well as landslides in Murree, Gilyat and Gilgit-Baltistan
There is fear of rain damage to crops, weak infrastructure, poles and solar panels. The wheat crop is also feared to be affected by the rain in Bahawalnagar
Chance of strong winds in most districts of Balochistan, according to the met office.

Rain is expected in Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujarat and Gujranwala, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha and Mianwali

The weather will remain hot in most of the districts of Sindh, there is a possibility of wind in some areas
Rain is expected in Buner, Malakand, Chitral, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, Mardan, Kohat, Karam and Dera Ismail Khan, according to the Meteorological Department
More rain with thundershowers is expected in Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Tank, Waziristan and Kirk

Heavy falls are also likely at few places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Kashmir and adjacent hilly areas.
Rain, wind, snow continue in Neelum Valley. Due to adverse weather conditions Neelum Valley road has haeen closed for traffic in several places. Deputy Commissioner Raja Arif Mehmood has said that due to rains visit to the Neelum Valley not ideal . He advised tourists to avoid travel to the valley till the weather clears up.
