Ramazan Sasta Bazaars set up in Islamabad, Rawalpindi

ISLAMABAD: Ramazan Sasta bazaars have been set up in 28 locations of Rawalpindi and Islamabad for the facilitation of the masses during the holy month. People can buy food items at wholesale rates from these shops.
In Islamabad, 17 fair price shops will be set up across the city, including G-9 Markaz, I-8, F-8, E-11, F-10, F-11, G-13, Bari Imam, Bani Gala, Pakistan Town, F-7, F-6, G-6, G-7, Lehtrar Road, and I-11/4 and Bara Kahu. Assistant commissioners have been assigned responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.
In Rawalpindi, 11 subsidized Ramzan Bazaars have been set up in the city, along with one in each tehsil. These markets will continue until the 29th of Ramadan.
OGRA decreases LPG price by Rs6.15 per kg
Essential items like sugar, flour, ghee, gram flour, vegetables, and fruits at discounted rates at these shops. The Agriculture Department will set up stalls for tomatoes, potatoes, onions, pulses, and gram flour, while the Poultry Research Institute will provide subsidized chicken.

- Farm eggs priced at Rs 287 per dozen.
- White apples available at Rs 187 per kg.
- Premium bananas priced at Rs 295 per dozen.
- Second-grade bananas available at Rs 208 per dozen.
- Guavas priced at Rs 242 per kg.
- Premium kinnow available at Rs 335 per dozen, second-grade kinnow at Rs 190 per dozen.
- Iraqi dates priced at Rs 465 per kg.
- Iranian dates available at Rs 530 per kg.
