Rawalpindi: Father kills daughter over TikTok account

RAWALPINDI: A father shot and killed his 16 year old daughter for not deleting her TikTok account in the jurisdiction of Rawat police station in Rawalpindi.

According to police, the tragic incident took place a day earlier when Ikhlaq Ahmed asked his daughter Mehak to delete her TikTok account. Upon her refusal he got angry and shot his daughter dead.

A murder case has now been registered on the complaint of Head Constable Shahbaz Anjum Kayan against Ikhlaq.

Ikhlaq reportedly fled the scene after killing his 16 year old daughter Mehak. The family of the deceased tried to cover up the incident by claiming that she committed suicide.

However, during the investigation, police recovered some evidence that contradicted the family’s claim of suicide and it was confirmed that the girl was murdered.

Police has managed to arrest Ikhlaq Ahmed and recovered the murder weapon from him. He has been shifted to Rawat police station for further interrogations.
