Rawalpindi: Four killed in firing on Bhon Road

RAWALPINDI – Four people were shot dead in a firing incident on Bhon Road in Naddi, a village in Kahuta Tehsil of Rawalpindi district, police confirmed.

The four men, including two real brothers, were killed over a property dispute.

The deceased have been identified as Junaid Gul, his brother Samar Iqbal, Mateen Kayani and Shoaib.

The bodies were immediately shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Kahuta.

According to the police, the four men were driving on Bhon Road when the opposing party fired on the car killing all four on the spot.

As soon as the incident was reported, SP Saddar Rawalpindi Nabeel Khokhar reached the scene along with a police team and collected forensic evidence from the spot. He stated that the two parties had an old land dispute linked to the Sihala area of Islamabad.

According to Nabeel Khokhar, members of both groups involved in the murder case were already wanted by Rawalpindi and Islamabad police in serious criminal cases.

The police have collected all necessary evidence from the scene, registered a case, and launched an investigation. Teams have been formed to arrest the suspects.

Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Punjab has taken notice of the incident and sought a detailed report from the RPO Rawalpindi.

He has directed that all suspects involved in this brutal act be arrested immediately and that all available resources be used to ensure their capture.

The police has assured they will be arrested soon.

The incident is being investigated from multiple angles. Panic has spread among the local residents.
