RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Police have refuted claims of the arrest of Commissioner Rawalpindi, dispelling rumors that had circulated following recent events.

Rawalpindi Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chattha on Saturday resigned from his post accepting that elections in his division were rigged.

The denial comes in response to widespread speculation regarding the commissioner’s alleged apprehension.
