Rent of KP House in Islamabad increased

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has increased the rent for rooms in government residences located in Islamabad and Abbottabad.
According to an official notification, the daily rent for provincial employees at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House in Islamabad has been raised from Rs 2,200 to Rs 4,400.
Hence, now the federal ministers, senators, advisors, and MNAs will have to pay Rs 5,800 per day instead of Rs.3700.

The rent for rooms at the Shahi Mehman Khana in Peshawar has also increased. The daily rent for a VIP room has been doubled from Rs.2,200 to Rs 4,400, while the rent for a standard room has gone up from Rs. 2,700 to Rs. 3,600.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House Abbottabad, the daily rent has been increased from Rs. 1,800 to Rs. 3,600.
