Reshuffle of high-level officers in Islamabad police notified

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has issued a notification for the transfer of high-level officers of the federal capital’s police.
According to the notification, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Syed Ali Raza has been reassigned as DIG Security and Headquarters.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Jawad Tariq has been appointed as the new DIG Operations Islamabad.
In another key posting, Shoaib Khan has been appointed as SSP Operations Islamabad.
A formal notification has been issued regarding the changes.

BLIND MURDER SOLVED
Meanwhile, the Islamabad police have solved a blind murder and the main suspect has been arrested.
The case involved the brutal killing of a young man, Faisal Majeed, whose mutilated body was found stuffed in a sack near a tunnel in the jurisdiction of Nilore police station.
Faisal was reported missing by his father Abdul Majeed.
Under the supervision of SP Rural Zone Kazim Naqvi, teams from Nilore police station and the Homicide Unit conducted a thorough investigation. Their efforts led to the arrest of Tanveer Hussain and the recovery of the motorcycle used in the crime.
SP Naqvi revealed that the murder was driven by financial disputes. The victim, a landlord, and the suspect, his tenant, were both engaged in business at the same marketplace. Their ongoing disagreements eventually led to the crime.
